We’re excited to announce that our partner, Forty Creek Whisky, is back this New Year’s Eve to offer free transit on UP Express, helping you ring in 2026 safely.

Visiting Toronto to spend the holidays with your friends and loved ones? UP Express provides a convenient and reliable service between Pearson Airport and downtown Toronto. Travel safely into 2026, with complimentary rides to and from your New Year’s Eve celebrations. Whether you’re seeking a glamourous night out, or a family-friendly event to watch the fireworks in the city, you can rely on UP Express to get you to all your New Year’s Eve celebrations quickly and safely.

We’ve added late-night trains from Union Station to help you get home safely. Special late-night trains depart every 30 minutes, starting at 1:15 a.m. ET, with the last train departing at 3:45 a.m. ET, making all regular stops to Pearson Airport.

Special late-night trains will depart from Union Station at:

• 1:15 a.m.
• 1:45 a.m.
• 2:15 a.m.
• 2:45 a.m.
• 3:15 a.m.
• 3:45 a.m.

The last train departs from Pearson Station at 12:54 a.m., and there will be no additional trains from Pearson Station. If you are heading home eastbound from Pearson Airport after 12:54 a.m. or westbound from Union Station after 3:45 a.m., no worries! You can still rely on free rides across the GO Transit network until 8 a.m. on January 1, 2026, to ensure a safe journey home after the celebrations. 

How to travel for free this NYE on UP Express:

1. Arrive at Bloor, Mount Dennis, Weston or Pearson stations before your train.
2. Please remember to tap on the payment device when using PRESTO. No worries, you will be charged $0 for the fare. You do not need to purchase a ticket.
3. Sit back, relax, and let UP Express take you into 2026 and beyond.

We want your New Year’s Eve journey on UP Express to be comfortable and enjoyable! With trains and platforms busier than usual, please stay alert in crowded areas and keep back from the yellow line.
