Our Stops
Between Pearson and Union, UP Express stops at Weston and Bloor stations. Fares are calculated by distance, so you only pay for the distance covered on your way to and from the airport, with shorter journeys costing less than longer journeys.
*Return fares, including Meeter & Greeter Return and Long Layover Return fares for all stops are available exclusively online. When travelling with us, your health and safety is our #1 priority. Due to COVID-19, meeting and greeting at Pearson airport is only allowed outside the terminals such as the UP Express station platform at Terminal 1, parking facilities, or the Arrivals Level exterior curbs. Before purchasing a Meeter & Greeter ticket, we encourage you to check Pearson airport’s safety measures to ensure you have the latest information on areas you can access to meet and greet your family or loved one.

How can I get tickets?
UP Express tickets must be purchased before you board and are available online, on the UP Express mobile app and at the vending machines at UP Express stations.
In support of Metrolinx enhanced measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19, our Guest Service Representatives will no longer accept cash at service counters. Cash, credit and debit cards can also be used to purchase a ticket from a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM).
You can also tap your PRESTO fare payment card before boarding an UP Express train.
In support of Metrolinx enhanced measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19, our Guest Service Representatives will no longer accept cash at service counters. Cash, credit and debit cards can also be used to purchase a ticket from a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM).
You can also tap your PRESTO fare payment card before boarding an UP Express train.
Proof of Payment and Fare Inspections
UP Express uses an honour-based proof of fare payment system. Fare inspections are conducted across the UP Express system and there is zero-tolerance for fare evasion. Anyone who is unable to provide a valid ticket upon inspection will be issued a fine.

New PRESTO cards are subject to a one-time activation fee of $6.
PRESTO makes travel on UP easy – it’s just tap and go. But you can also purchase your UP tickets online, through the UP Express App or in station at the ticket vending machines.
Purchase PRESTO cards online at Shoppers Drugmart locations, or at as UP Express and GO Transit stations throughout the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area. Select UP Express Ticket Vending Machines at Union and Pearson Stations allow customers to purchase a PRESTO card, add value and check balance and account information. Please note, a non-refundable $6 fee is applied to all new PRESTO cards.
There are several convenient ways you can check balance and/or load funds to your PRESTO card:
- Through Shoppers Drug Mart or other in-person Customer Service Outlets, you must load at least $0.05. When loading at Ticket Vending Machines at Bloor, Weston or Pearson UP Express stations, you must load at least $10.00.

PRESTO is an electronic fare payment card, offering users seamless travel and reduced fares on UP Express. Tap your card on an UP Express PRESTO device prior to boarding your train and make sure to tap off on an UP Express PRESTO device after exiting.
Guests who wish to travel from a non-Airport station to another non-Airport station (Union, Bloor or Weston stations) can tap their PRESTO card on an UP Express Fare Payment device (show image of UP PRESTO machines). If you tap ON an UP Express Fare Payment device, you must tap OFF on an UP Express Fare Payment device once you reach your destination.
The new PRESTO devices you see on your stations and/or platforms not only sport a new design, you’ll notice they also have larger screens that display information more clearly. The “mode” buttons on the device allow you to check your PRESTO card balance, and reverse your tap. In addition, the audio mode is also a new feature that offers enhanced accessibility. To activate, just plug-in your 3.5mm jack to the right of the screen and listen to instructions.
To ensure the PRESTO device capture your PRESTO card properly, you are required to take out your PRESTO card out of your wallet.
Please see a Guest Service Representative (GSR) within 60 minutes for assistance with a reversal. If a GSR is not available please contact 1-844-GET-ON-UP for further assistance.
